Customer Review: Great but airport security issues
I bought this product for use with my Magellan Maestro 3225. The suctioned base mounts perfectly into the Nav-Mat, and the pad does not move, regardless of the angle at which it sits on the dash board while you drive.

I purchased the product because I was going to be driving while traveling out of state. As it turned out, my only issue with the product was that airport security personnel didn’t know what to make of the object, and they asked to have it re-screened on two out of three passes through security. Anticipating this, the best thing would be to either have it stored in checked in bags, or to remove it and put it out for scanning if you are taking it via carry-on luggage, as you would with a laptop. at least until airport personnel become familiar with it.

Customer Review: Dash Pad beats window placement.
I like the fact the pad is easy to move or put away. Sturdy and great for my GPS. I don’t like using a window placement because it obscurs my view. This is just the answer.
